Power of Words: Poetry
1.
Write an example of a word or phrase
that is special to you.
ex: “Love is all you need.”
ex: “Love is all you need.”
2.
Write 2-5 sentences describing that
word/ phrase.
ex: Love can give a person strength or can cause a person to display weakness at a time when they would normally be strong. If I’m having a bad day, I can simply remember the love I have in my home and that reminds me that’s all that really matters. Sometimes, people make sacrifices for the ones that they love. It might not always seem like the best thing at the time, but compromise is a form of love.
